Remembering my Grandma for all the love she had in her heart and for the things she did for me alone.  She was a Grandma beyond compare....she was the dearest Grandma anywhere.

 Donald M. "Brindlepitt" Floyd

Don, or "Brindle" as he liked me to call him, was my heart and soul.  We only had 13 months together, but he will stay alive in my heart always.  He was a wonderful father to his children, Brent and Christina, and he loved his Grandchildren, Little Brent and Jenna.  He loved life and his God.  This is a picture of him.  It is one of the last ones taken of him.  He died happy and knowing he was loved and had found what he had searched for, a woman who treated him with respect, love and caring.  Brindle, I love you and will until I close my eyes for the last time.  Please be waiting on me when it's my turn to come home.  Thank you for the Pink Roses.  I know you loved me and no one can take that away from us.

Kayla, my sweet angel granddaughter, it's been a year since you left us, and Brindle stood right beside me through it all, not knowing at that time that he would be the next one to leave.  I have lost you and Brindle in terrible accidents and so sudden...you are here laughing and playing one day and gone in the blink of an eye the next...and Brindle the same way.  This heart of your Nans is breaking away, a day at a time.  I know you know that I miss you and him...and how much I loved the both of you.  I will join you  as soon as my work is done here on earth and God grants me to come HOME and see and hug the both of you.  I sure do miss the hugs... and Brindle gave great ones.   I know that you are with Pappy...he named you "Dirty-Gert" and it seems only proper that he would take you by the hand, but remember, Brindle is there too and when I get Home, it will be Brindle that I seek out, so Sweetie,  stay close to Brindle also...and know that I will see you all soon...You...Pappy...Mom...Dad...Bill...Rose...Shane...and my precious Brindle.  I love you, my sweet little angel girl, and know that Mom, Dad, Scott ,Adrienne, and Boo miss you too.  I am so glad that we had you, even if it was just for a short time.  

So now "Dance" princess, and I will listen to hear your whispers.
