  My Dad was a kind and loving man. Daddy loved the Lord and made four trips to Kenya, Uganda and Korea where he worked with a medical team to witness and treat many people. I wrote a poem in memory of my father, who I miss so very much.

"This man is more then just your average ordinary person. He was my father, my protector and a man with a humble and loving spirit. I am sure many of you remember him. Often in the summer, you would drive past his corn stands, and at 80 years of age, he still had a young and giving spirit. He raised me with the attitude to never give up and just give the best you can to people and life. There are many memories I could share, but they are my memories that I hold in my heart. In tribute to my father, all I can say is I thank God that he let me be his daughter."
