Jordan, you were with us for such a short time, yet touched SO many lives.  We will never forget you or stop loving you.  You will always be a part of our lives.  Through your Parents and Grandparents, your little brother and sister will know you too.

Until we all meet again,

My Best Friend

There she was sitting on the back of a truck.
Something told me, go talk to that girl.
Then to find out we were both new to the area.
We met as acquaintances just sharing a few things.
Laughing about life in general for who knows where life will lead us.

Then before  long, I discovered I wanted to talk with her more.
There was just something special about this girl, Mary.
Then in time I discovered a wonderful person.
She loved you for who you are, and not what you did for her.
They say that animals have an unconditional love.
In this case they never had the opportunity to meet Mary Kelley.

There were times we didn't always keep in touch, but our hearts were bonded no matter what.
I had to move to another state, but every now and then I just had to call my dearest friend.
I remember when I first moved back to Little Rock the phone rang.  I heard a voice say, "do you need any help?"  I said,  "no don't worry, I have everything under control,"  well, only Mary knows I have NEVER had anything under control, especially moving.  Before I realized there was a knock on the door. There was Mary, to once again give a helping hand.

The years went quickly and before I realized she was more then a friend.  I loved her as if she were my own sister. A forever friend, Mary  could smile and never complain. Then life lead us to another road, this one was hard on family and friends. She never complained while being ill. Mary always worried about others and how they would feel.

June 7th, 2001 was a very sad day. Her husband Penn said it the best you can.  It was both sweet and sour.  Sour that she had to suffer the pain.  Sour that her family and dear friends miss her.  Sweet to the fact she is now in peace. The most lovely angel in heaven will be Mary Christine Kelley, my dearest and best friend

Daddy, you are sadly missed by all of us.  We think of you everyday and remember all the wonderful times we had with you.  I thank God for His having given me the greatest Dad in the world.  I feel so lost without you to talk to, and to laugh with.  And, I greatly miss your advice and your wisdom.  You are forever in my heart and I carry your memory with me.

Until we meet again.

"Free As A Butterfly"

Each day is like the day before,
Sad, Lonely.
I miss you Beyond all,
That I could ever explain.

I miss your touch, laughter,
And Words of Wisdom.
You brought me so much,
That words could never repay,
For all you left me.

We had our time, short as it was,
It was a love I have never felt before.
So till we meet again,
Rest Well, My Love,
Peace Is Yours.

And know I will Carry You in my Heart,
Each Day of My Life.
