Loving Memory

 Eugene H. Arnold

1947 - 2002

Remember the promises we made
to God and each other on our wedding day,

September 20, 1969 - until death do we part.

My beloved husband, you are never far away from me.
Our precious memories together live on always in my heart.
I will forever love you, and I know that some day at long last
we will be together again.

Love, Nancy

I miss you so much, Mom.  I feel so lost without you but I know you are happy and that God is so pleased with the way you lived your life.  Thank you for teaching us about God and love and what's really important in life.

I look forward to the day when I can hug you again.  I love you so much.

Virginia was my big sister.  She was a shining star and angel here on earth.  She loved her Lord, her family and her church.  I miss her so much, but I know she is happy with Jesus.  She lived her whole life to be with Him but I long to see her and feel her touch.

"Never Forgotten"
by Colleen Pivoroff

I haven't forgotten you, Dad,
though it may appear that way.
My exterior is a clever mask,
that I've learned to wear each day.

It's a costume of false happiness,
and apparent self control.
But the threaded seams are wearing thin,
and have taken a harsh toll.

I've learned to speak of you now,
with a smile upon my face.
It helps to hide the turmoil,
that no one can erase.

I know I fool a lot of people,
but the truth is not well known.
For only you can see me cry,
when I sit in the dark alone.

This poem was given to me at my daughters' fathers' funeral from a close friend who received this poem from Robert when her husband died, for her daughters.  She retyped the poem and gave it to me to give to Alexis when I thought the time was right.  Well, I don't think anytime is the right time, but I will give it to her soon.

It so touched me I thought I would put it in the Memory Pages because if it weren't for him,
I wouldn't have her.

R.I.P. Robert and all my close personal friends and family who have left this world this year.
