Scott Kent 1967 - 2000   Sweet precious cousin, I adored more than life. When the neighbors came knocking,  It pierced like a knife. You must have been needed, far greater up there, But it's hard not to question,  What went so "Horrible!"  To get you "There!" Your sweet precious spirit, Will never die. I feel you still with me,  Bringing a tear to my eye. Although there's a hole,  In my heart that won't heal, I know the Good Lord  Will help me to deal! Sweet little cousin,  I miss you so much. But you're in God's arms,  Feel His Heavenly touch. I picture you up there,  On clouds like white cotton.   He was a loved man who only got to live 15 years with us.  He may not have known it, but he was loved by many.  As we approach his 16th birthday (June 28th) we realize how much he is missed.

  My Mom was in a semi coma for days.  We could not speak to her and I went outside to get some fresh air.  I looked up into the sky, and there was one star shining so bright with such a beautiful blue sky.  I said "Please God,, I know you are up there.  If you can hear me, please give us one more chance to say goodbye to our Mother."  I then went back upstairs and a miracle happened that night.  My Mother woke up and she spoke with us and all she could talk about was how beautiful Heaven was, and how handsome God was.  She said that everything was perfect and beautiful and she was not afraid to leave us to go with God.  She stayed with us until the next morning and at 5:35am on July 26, 2001, my Mother passed away.  There was a light around her head and she had a smile on her face.

George, you are so sadly missed by all of us.  You went so fast that we didn't even have time to say farewell.  I do know that your suffering is now at an end, but it is going to be so hard for the rest of us to carry on.  We are going to miss you so very much.  It just won't be the same anymore without you teasing us and Mikie's going to miss you calling him 'Ninny-Boy.'  Both the boys want their Uncle George to come back home.  It's very hard for them to understand because they're so young.

We all miss you and will always love you.  You will always be in our prayers.

Safely Home

I am home in Heaven, dear ones, oh so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder why I so calmly, trod the valley of the shade ?  Oh ! But Jesus' Love illuminated, every dark and fearful glade. 

And He came Himself to meet me on that way so hard to tread; and with Jesus' arms to lean on, could I have one doubt or dread ?

Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still; try to look beyond earths shadows, pray to trust our Father's Will.

There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand; do it now , while life remaineth,  you shall rest in Jesus' land. 

When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home.  Oh , the rapture of that meeting, oh the joy to see you come.

"He was a loving husband and father to nine children, grandfather of
twenty-four, and great-grandfather of fourteen. He leaves behind a
legacy of love."
