Daniel
Daniel is best known for his faith and courage. He refused to turn his back on God by praying to idols of gold. Thus, King Darius had him thrown into a lion's den. Throughout the night, Daniel was protected by angels, and when King Darius saw that Daniel was still alive the next morning, and that no harm had come to him, he ordered all of his kingdom to serve and worship the God of Daniel.
